1. Introduction

Welcome to CodWaves. By accessing our website and purchasing our software, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. License Agreement

When you purchase or claim any CodWaves plugin, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software for music production. Each license allows up to three simultaneous activations on computers owned by you. You can free a slot at any time by revoking an activation from your account.

3. Merchant of Record

Orders are handled by CodWaves using Revolut Checkout or PayPal for payment processing. Refund requests and account support can be started through our support page.

4. Intellectual Property

All software, designs, and content on this site are the property of CodWaves. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or distribute our software illegally.

5. Limitation of Liability

CodWaves is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our software.

6. Digital Delivery & Right of Withdrawal

Our products are digital content delivered immediately after purchase. By completing an order and agreeing to these terms, you expressly consent to the immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that you thereby lose your 14-day statutory right of withdrawal under EU consumer law. Independently of that statutory right, we offer a voluntary 14-day money-back guarantee. You are also responsible for confirming that the billing details you provide at checkout are correct.

7. Rent-to-own payment plans

Some plugins can be taken on a rent-to-own plan. A plan is a monthly rental of the plugin that grants you a permanent licence once the agreed total has been paid. It is not a credit agreement: no interest, fee or charge of any kind is added, and the total you pay is exactly the plugin's base price at the moment the plan starts.

Price. The total and the monthly amount are fixed when the plan starts and are not affected by later price changes in either direction. Discount codes, automatic offers, bundles and affiliate pricing do not apply to a rent-to-own plan.

Pausing and cancelling. You can pause or cancel a plan at any time from your account, with no penalty. Instalments you have already paid are never forfeited: your progress is kept indefinitely and you can resume the plan for the remaining balance whenever you choose. You can also settle the remaining balance in a single payment at any time and take ownership immediately.

Access. The plugin works while the plan is being paid. If payments stop, whether because you paused, cancelled, or a payment failed, access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, plus a short grace period, and then the licence stops working until the plan is resumed. Offline activation is not available while a plan is running, because an offline licence cannot be withdrawn; it becomes available once the plan is completed.

Refunds. The voluntary 14-day money-back guarantee applies to the first instalment, which cancels the plan and ends access. Later instalments pay for rental periods that have been used and are not refundable, though we will always look at individual circumstances through support.
